ABF TV Upgrades Its Sound for a More Immersive Experience

ABF TV introduces dedicated audio processing for fuller sound and deeper bass, bringing a new dimension to its Creative Commons programming. The channel remains in beta testing.

ABF TV is taking another step forward with its own dedicated audio processing, joining Radio ABF and ABF 2 in giving each channel a distinct sound.

The aim is simple: fuller audio, deeper bass and a more immersive viewing experience, whether you are watching a film, an animated production or a documentary.

🔊 Sound that brings you closer

Applied in real time during broadcast, the new processing helps bring greater consistency to audio levels across programmes while adding warmth, presence and depth.

The settings have been tailored for ABF TV, with attention to both musical passages and dialogue. From quieter scenes to powerful soundtracks, sound becomes a greater part of the experience.

🎬 Creative Commons on screen

ABF TV explores cinema, animation, documentaries and independent audiovisual creativity, with works shared under Creative Commons licences and broadcast in accordance with their respective permissions.

It is a space for discovering different stories, visual worlds and creative voices — now with a richer sound to accompany them.

🧪 Still in beta, still evolving

ABF TV remains in beta testing. This audio upgrade is another step in the channel’s development, with further adjustments guided by real viewing conditions and audience feedback.

Turn up the sound, settle in, and bring the cinema home.
